ExperiencedAbout 800 Storage
800 Storage is a fast-growing storage provider operating 9 facilities across Dubai, helping businesses and individuals make smarter use of physical space. We combine real-world facilities with modern technology and a customer-first mindset — building a booking and facility management platform used by thousands of customers daily. We're scaling fast, and the product you'll work on is central to how we grow.
The Role
We're looking for a Senior Angular Developer who genuinely enjoys working with Angular, cares about clean interfaces, and isn't afraid of a codebase with history. You'll join a small, focused team and own meaningful parts of our product — building features that real users depend on every day.
What You'll Be Working On
- Build and maintain customer-facing web applications in Angular (v17+), with some legacy AngularJS (1.6) still in the mix
- Create responsive, accessible UIs using HTML5, CSS3, and TypeScript
- Integrate front-end components with RESTful APIs and handle async data flows using RxJS
- Design and implement well-structured Angular components, leveraging lazy loading and Angular's module architecture
- Help shape and execute the migration of legacy code toward modern Angular
- Collaborate closely with product and design to ship features that make sense for users
- Champion performance, cross-browser compatibility, and code quality across the team
- Work with web applications to automate and streamline business workflow cycles
What We're Looking For
Must-Have:
- 3+ years of frontend development experience, with a strong Angular focus
- Strong proficiency in Angular (v17+) and TypeScript
- Solid grasp of Angular architecture — components, modules, lazy loading, dependency injection
- Hands-on experience with RxJS for managing async data flows
- Solid HTML5 and CSS3 — you write code others can maintain
- Experience consuming RESTful APIs in Angular
- Comfortable with Git, PR-based workflows, and async collaboration
- Proficient in Jira and working within sprint-based Scrum teams
- Able to understand and implement business logic within frontend workflows
Nice-to-Have:
- Experience with NgRx or similar state management
- Familiarity with unit testing in Angular (Jasmine/Karma or Jest)
- Prior experience with AngularJS migration projects
What Working Here Looks Like
- 100% remote — work from anywhere
- Agile team with short feedback loops and no unnecessary process
- Direct access to decision-makers
- Real ownership over your work — no hand-holding, no micromanagement
- A product that real users depend on daily
- Competitive salary commensurate with experience, with room to grow as the company scales
